This article publicizes four new findings from the drawings collection at the Museo Lázaro Galdiano. These works by Jenaro Pérez Villaamil (1807-1854), one of the most talented and prolific Spanish romantic painters, include three pencil drawings and a watercolour. They were identified in the course of the Museum´s recent re-cataloguing process. All of them share Pérez Villaamil´s characteristic technique and style, depicting some of his favourite topics. Apart from substantially adding to the Lázaro Collection's current holdings by the artist, these four works will help document Pérez Villaamil's travels throughout Europe in the 1840s.
